Furthermore, when combined, these gritty and minty notes give the perfume a little sweet and spicy quality. The nose is very fruity sweet straight out of the jar. Since I haven’t smelled a fuyu persimmon before, I can’t really compare this experience to anything. I will say that this aroma profile has a hint of resemblance to the shell of a Peruvian granadilla. Opening a bud brings out the sweetness even more and it is one of the most satisfying feeling. It’s hard to explain, but basically, it tastes like the sugariness moves up an octave and stays at that higher pitch.

The inhale from the bong leaves me with a little gritty and caustic sweet taste, while the inhale from the joint has a musty sweetness and a doughy, “sour” quality that is finished off with a minty lilt. The bong’s exhale hits with a musty, sweet, semi-fruity flowery that occasionally echoed unevenly with savory barbecue, while the joint itself had a deep, musty fruit flavor that was surrounded by a gassy exterior and occasionally dipped into a grape-like brandywine flavor. The fruitiness persisted for a good few minutes thereafter, according to my notes, and “the mustiness and sweetness seem to alternate as if they are helicopter kicking my tongue on the way out.”
